Company Overview: Our client is a rapidly growing SME backed by private equity, executing an ambitious buy-and-build strategy. With a focus on acquisition and integration, they are seeking a skilled Transaction Services Consultant to support their buy-side M&A activities.


Job Description: As a Transaction Services Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the execution of our client's aggressive buy-and-build strategy. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting due diligence on potential acquisition targets to assess their financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Assisting in the integration of newly acquired businesses, ensuring a smooth transition and maximizing synergies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and operations to evaluate and execute transactions.
  • Providing financial analysis and support to the deal team throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Developing financial models and forecasts to support investment decisions and post-acquisition performance monitoring.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of M&A strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or relevant professional qualification preferred.
  • Previous experience (3+ years) in transaction services, M&A advisory, or restructuring within a Big 4 accounting firm or reputable financial advisory firm.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills with a deep understanding of financial statements and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience in the private equity or corporate development space is desirable but not essential.
