Religious Studies Tutor - Harrow, North London to start ASAP
Remedy Education are looking for a Religious Studies Tutor to support a young student based in Harrow
This young student requires up to 2 hours a week of RE tuition to support her with her upcoming GCSE's - this will be continuing through the summer holidays.
The student lives in Harrow and she does have a diagnosis of ASD, however this doesn't majorly affect her learning as she is a very bright and pleasant child.
Roles and responsibilities:
Plan and deliver specific programmes which complement ongoing class work, learning objectives and assessment plans along with the class teacher
Deliver tuition face-to-face / online and be confident in adapting content, style, format of the session to ensure results are achieved
Build strong relationships with pupils and school contacts through session delivery, weekly review meetings, tuition progress reports and feedbackSuccessful candidates will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent; ideally with specialism in RE
Relevant education, learning, childcare qualifications or at least 6 months experience
Up to date knowledge and a clear understanding of the UK Curriculum
Expert subject knowledge and be able to plan and communicate it effectively
A commitment to deliver challenging and engaging sessions for an entire programmeKey Benefits:
