We are working with a comprehensive secondary school in Blandford Forum who seek a Teacher of Science to join their department. The department is well managed, and teachers are very satisfied working at this school.
The successful teacher will be considered on agency or permanent contract, it's usually at the teacher's preference.
The successful teacher will be responsible for delivering general science lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, planning and marking will be expected as part of the commitment to this role.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience or qualifications required for this position is recent teaching experience in a science related role and QTS.
The successful teacher:
You must be available to interview in person at the school.
No support is given with Visa or Sponsorship.
You must be UK trained or have a minimum of one full year of teaching experience at the same school in England if you are a teacher from abroad.
Good classroom and workload management is necessary – which will be assessed via your references.
Experience of planning, teaching and assessing the full UK English Curriculum up to GCSE level is necessary.
Commitment to raising standards of learning, attitude and attainment.
High level of self-motivation and interpersonal skills.
