Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Are you a Senior Quantity surveyor looking for a new and exciting role? Would you like to work for a leading construction company in central London? If so we may have the job for you
The company are well established, and are known for delivering a broad range of projects, from high specification refurbishments to extensive structural schemes for private clients in London and across the South East.
Type of project: A major structural extension works and refurbishment on an 1800`s terraced property in central London.
The Role:
You will report directly to the Managing Director
* Prepare detailed budgets and cost reports
* Prepare monthly valuations
* Prepare regular project cost and cashflow reports
* Liaise with bank and project QS
* Prepare subcontractor payments
* Prepare project final accounts
* Prepare final accounts for subcontractors
* Address financial and contractual issues
* Prepare estimates for client/design changes
* Administer subcontracts and material contracts
* Procure up-to-date insurance documents on all appointed subcontractors and consultants
* Issue vesting certificates, as required
* Business development
* Support the Commercial Manager/Managing Director on tendering new projects.
* Attend and contribute to post project reviews.
* Subcontractor due diligence
* Prepare and update procurement schedule
* Attend Design team meetings
* Procure subcontracts and materials
* Troubleshoot contractual issues
* Issue EOT notices to client and subcontractors
* Issue formal delay notices to subcontractors and consultants
* Risk Analysis
* Fortnightly or monthly commercial reporting.
* Prepare subcontracts and warranties
