A Senior Quantity Surveyor is required for a new office based in Leeds, for this high level, household name fitout fit-out company.
Their new office, takes them to the heart of many of their key clients including supermarkets and major retailers.
With multiple new sites work around the area arising between Birmingham and Manchester and 10 new sites set to start this year, the future looks bright.
- They need a flexible client facing QS with an appreciation of how it works on site.
- There will be travelling between sites / site visits.
- Working from home initially is fine, though that will change with the increases in head count.
- The office initially be more of a meeting point.
The right candidate must be a flexible , team player, who doesn't mind jumping in to help the team, so, big ego's and aggressive personalities wouldn't be suitable for this position.
The ideal level of experience would be a hungry 4-5 year served QS / Account Manager , looking to progress and learn and who can see the career potential in a new region. The process of interview will be an initial Teams call with 2/3 of the main decision makers , followed by a separate Teams call with the owner and a face to face x 2 of the above decision makers. This is due to wanting to get it right on both sides and expose you to as much of the business as possible , which explains why their staff retention is so good.
