Job Overview:
Parkside Recruitment are seeking a talented 3D Designer with a robust background in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Mechanical Engineering to contribute to cutting-edge projects.
Responsibilities:
As a 3D Designer you will be responsible for:
* Developing detailed 3D models and designs using advanced CAD software.
* Translating conceptual ideas into accurate and manufacturable 3D designs.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet technical specifications and project requirements.
* Applying mechanical engineering principles to design and optimise mechanical components and systems.
* Conducting feasibility studies and performance analysis for mechanical designs.
* Collaborating with engineers to integrate mechanical designs into larger systems.
* Demonstrating a strong command of CAD tools, especially in 3D modeling.
* Utilising CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) to create detailed and accurate technical drawings.
* Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology.
* Managing and prioritizing multiple design projects concurrently.
* Collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of design projects.
* Providing regular project updates and reports.
* Conducting thorough reviews of designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
* Implementing quality control measures to identify and rectify design errors or issues.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience as a 3D Designer with a focus on mechanical engineering projects.
* Strong proficiency in CAD software, with a demonstrable portfolio of 3D modeling projects.
* Knowledge of mechanical design principles and the ability to apply them effectively.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Detail-oriented with a keen eye for precision and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Previous experience in industries such as manufacturing, product design, or automotive engineering.
* Familiarity with simulation and analysis tools for mechanical designs.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
Additional Advantage: It would be beneficial if candidates possess production or live event experience or demonstrate an interest in these areas.
