Description
Distribution Manager will be responsible for:
Strategies and implement distribution plans
Oversee the distribution process to ensure timely delivery
Maintain and monitor department KPIs
Collaborate with other departments for effective operation
Implement continuous improvement and change management processes
Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies
Manage relationships with suppliers and clients
Implement cost-saving strategies and efficiency improvements
Train and lead distribution team members
Present to senior management and the boardProfile
A successful Distribution Manager should have:
Experience in managing logistics distribution and supply chain operations
Proven people leader with the ability to engage with all across the business
Demonstrate continuous improvement success
Comfortable with implementing change management
Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytically mindset
Proficient in WMS
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels within the business
Previous responsibility for 50+ people
Management within complex warehouse and distribution operations
Commutable to LeedsJob Offer
The successful distribution manager will receive a competitive salary range of £50,000 to £60,000 per anum
