FJA are working with a national leader in the

Water industry , who are looking to recruit a

SHE Advisor . Our client are looking to strengthen their SHEQ team with someone who will fulfil the day-to-day H&S duties and contribute to the management and development of the regional safety strategy.

Based throughout the Southern Water region (primarily Sussex & Kent with occasional ad hoc support to Hampshire).

The role is a 6 month contract position.

Benefits:nCar/car allowancen25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (with an additional 5 days available to buy)nContribution Pension schemenLife AssurancenHealth InsurancenPrivate medical InsurancenYou will report directly to the Head of SHEQ the responsibilities will include:nProvide support to the regional management teams to enable compliance with health and safety legislation.nProvide support to regional management teams on the implementation of HSE guidance and best practice.nCarry out systematic audits and inspections of construction sites, offices and other workplaces to verify compliance with the legislative requirements and compliance with the requirements of the health and safety management systems.nMonitor the satisfactory resolution of health and safety problems.nInvestigate accidents and incidents to identify the root cause and learning points.nAssist the regional management teams and employees with the preparation of risk assessments and identification of suitable control measures, as and when required.nLiaise with clients, HSE Inspectors and external assessors.
