Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and engaging Nursery Deputy Manager to join their enthusiastic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to step into a key leadership role with the potential to progress to Nursery Manager in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership & Management: Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a high standard of care and education for all children.
* Team Support: Inspire, lead, and motivate the team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
* Curriculum Development: Assist in the planning and implementation of a creative and age-appropriate curriculum that meets the needs and interests of the children.
* Health & Safety: Ensure the nursery meets all regulatory requirements and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and parents.
* Parent Engagement: Build strong, positive relationships with parents and caregivers, ensuring open communication and involvement in their child's development.
* Professional Development: Support the continuous professional development of the nursery staff through mentoring, training, and performance reviews.
* Future Potential: Demonstrate leadership potential with the opportunity to step into the Nursery Manager role in the future.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursery setting, with proven leadership capabilities.
* Education: Minimum Level 3 or equivalent Early Years Qualification.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Passion: A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality early education.
* Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider community.
