Senior SAP BI Developer

, you will work with the SAP BI Manager and other SAP Technical and Functional leads to deliver a cohesive SAP BI strategy, aligned to the wider Yorkshire Water IT Architecture and strategy in line with SAP best practice and recommendations.

Where you fit in:nLeading the sustainable and cost-effective provision of data developments which support business processes and services, you will work with a range of technologies across the SAP software estate, demonstrating extensive experience in SAP BI development.nYou will work with other members of the SAP BI team taking the lead in projects and see developments through from requirements gathering to solution delivery.

Key aspects of the role:nDeveloping solutions using SAP technologies to demonstrate potential new capabilities by keeping abreast of new developments via online sources whilst ensuring appropriate standards are adhered to.nWork with SAP Security colleagues to ensure that all solutions deliver the appropriate level of security whilst minimising adverse effects upon the User ExperiencenProvide technical leadership to review the impact of system fixes, patches, upgrades and decommissioning on the BI Landscape to minimise risks and ensure affective mitigating controls are established.nDrive delivery of specified components as part of a capital project and seek out capital efficiencies through innovative development & delivery methods.

Skills & qualifications you will need:nExperience of developing BI solutions using

SAP ABAP CDS Views (Core Data Services)

and

SAP Fiori ElementsnA thorough understanding of how SAP systems / landscapes are structurednExperience of working with SAP Development TechnologiesnA solid understanding of SAP Solution Manager relating to Release Management & Incident Management.

You would also benefit from having:n2-3 years experience of working technical knowledge gained in a complex or varied environment.nExperience of using the following tools which will all be part of the rolenSAP Business Objects
