Sea Global are delighted to be partnering with a market leading business at the forefront of their industry who are looking for an experienced procurement professional to join their team. It is a really exciting time to get involved in the business as they are looking for someone to come in and manage a range of direct commodities.

Reporting into the Director of Procurement, they will be responsible for leading and developing a range of categories, looking after the spend and championing procurement improvements and cost-savings initiatives.

They are ideally looking for someone that has end-to-end procurement experience across a range of direct categories from a manufacturing or similar environment and will be able to hit the ground running from day one. .

Role & ResponsibilitiesnDevelop and implement strategic sourcing strategies across multiple different commodities.nBuild relationships with local and international suppliers, negotiating and ensuring deals align with business activities.nSupport and manage multiple projects from cradle to grave, driving strategy and communicating risks with the team & business.nDevelop and lead procurement process across sourcing and operational procurement processes.

Experience & RequirementsnHighly experienced within Direct Procurement in a Manufacturing environment.nComfortable working in an international market, demonstrating excellent supplier management skills.nCan undertake work and projects on their own initiative.nIdeally degree and/or MCIPS qualified (however, this is not at all essential)
