This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of cost management for energy and renewables projects, including pre-construction estimates, cost control, and contractual negotiations. As a key member of the project team, the successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered within budget, while maintaining compliance with contractual terms and industry standards. The role requires a proactive approach to financial and contractual challenges, working closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to optimise project outcomes and mitigate risks. You will be responsible for evaluating tenders, preparing cost reports, and managing variations throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to the financial success of complex offshore and onshore operations. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the oil and gas or renewables sector Strong knowledge of contractual procedures and procurement processes Excellent understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting Experience with tender preparation, contract management, and value engineering Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, contractors, and team members Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field is preferred This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to advance their career within a globally recognised company.
