Purchase Ledger Clerk

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to assist the Finance Manager keep on top of a busy ledger. The role is based in the village of Bakewell and boasts a great office with onsite parking. The working atmosphere is fast paced due to the nature of the business however the team are welcoming and will look to provide training into how they work so that you will be able to hit the ground running with the previous experience you will already be bringing to the table.
Key Responsibilities:

Process up to 90 invoices per day into Xero
*
Daily reconciliation of 4 bank accounts
*
Produce reports on Excel for the Finance Manager
*
Liaise with suppliers and handle any AP queries
*
Assist with the bi-weekly payment run
*
Support the wider team with ad hoc admin duties
Requirements:
*
2 years working in a similar role
*
Be able to reliably commute to Bakewell each day
*
Great attention to detail
*
Be comfortable using Excel
*
Proficiency in using accounting systems, Xero is a great benefit but not essential
