Supply Desk are seeking teaching assistants for a primary school in the Fareham area.
Starting from September 2024
Hours: 10 am -2 pm everyday
Supply Desk are proud to be supporting an Ofsted "Good" rated school in the Fareham area who are looking for an SEND TA. This school is a small primary with a community feel within a village close to Fareham. Experience of working with children with additional needs would be an advantage.
Job Description:
  • Desire to work with SEND children throughout the school
  • Be willing to support children with needs over lunchtime and provide activities and a trusting relationship
  • Support in class where needed
  • Part time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
  • Location: Close to central Portsmouth
  • Start Date: September 2024
  • Contract Length: Long Term - Potential to become permanent
  • Hours: Part time 20 hours

Individual Profile:
  • A nurturing and caring nature
  • GCSE Maths and English to A- C grade
  • Experience of working with children/young people
  • Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
  • Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations
  • First Aid trained or be willing to be trained
