CNC Programmer Setter Operator
Location Coventry
We are working with our client to recruit for a lCNC Programmer Manufacturing based in Coventry.
Salary: £35,000 per year salary + annual leave, pension and company benefits package (£17 to £22 per hour )
Hours: Day shift Monday to Friday 7.30am 4.30pm
CNC Programmer Responsibilities;
* Set and program 5 axis CNC Machinery
* Generate CNC Programs using Hypermill CAM software
* Work to tight tolerances and use precision measurement devices
* Ensure that the products meets the exact design specifications
* Provide technical support to CNC operators
Knowledge of Fanuc would be beneficial but training will be given to the right candidate (we will consider applicants with limited programming experience who are willing to learn). This is a excellent opportunity to join a dynamic company using the latest technology.
Key responsibilities include:
* Producing components to required tolerances and quality standards.
* Making amendments to CNC programmes to meet drawing requirements.
* Carrying out component quality checks.
The successful candidate will be a team player who can equally work on their own initiative, and meet the following criteria:
* Experienced CNC Turner or Miller - programmer, setter and operator (we will consider applicants with limited programming experience who are willing to learn)
* Experience of programming FANUC controls will be advantageous
* The ability to manufacture precision components from engineering drawings in terms of tolerances, surface finish etc.
* Experience of CMM will be advantageous
The candidate will have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
