We are offering an exceptional opportunity for a TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT
A busy manufacturing organisation, have a requirement for a Training and Development Assistant.
Working as part of the Training and Development team, you will be supporting the department in order to enable training activities to meet business requirements.
This is a fast paced, dynamic working environment, no 2 days will ever be the same
No doubt, this is a challenging role, but one that is highly rewarding, and where there are genuine long-term prospects.
Commutable from Birmingham, Moseley, Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, Lichfield, Walsall, Aldridge, Tyseley, Aston, Smethwick, Willenhall, Solihull, Coventry, Shirley and Minworth

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support coordination of training needs, collaborating with suppliers, employees and Manager’s across the group
* Attract and retain the best early career talent and enhance pipeline of home-grown talented individuals
* Support employee engagement, retention and career progression
* Support in the design, implementation and management of key projects and activities relating to people development cycle
* Support business with provision of wider training needs
* Reinforce all aspects of early year talent lifecycle including development, retention and candidate attraction
* To be point of contact for educational bodies
* Point of contact for early career employees in relation to academic, pastoral and safeguarding needs
* Help support future talent pipelines
REQUIREMENTS
* A background in Human Resources / Learning and Development
* Early career talent development knowledge
* An understanding of the recruitment process and safeguarding
* Microsoft office packages
* Full driving licence is essential
* This would suit a well organised, supportive individual
* The ability to juggle more than one task at a time
