My client is looking for a experince Van driver. You will be responsible for delivering goods to customers on a daily basis. He/She will ensure the correct items are loaded on to the van and delivered to timeframes specified on the paperwork.
They will liaise with the works office on a daily basis to ensue all deliveries reach their destination in good condition and free from any damage.
They will ensre the van meets all legal requirements to be driven on the roads whilst they are in charge of the vehicle on a daily basis.
Maintain a safe and competent standard of driving whilst confidently delivering electrical cable & accessories,
Check all deliveries are shown on the manifest and that all goods are loaded on the vehicle correctly.
Perform a daily vehicle check to ensure that the vehicle is in a roadworthy condition.
Report any faults breakdowns, or accident.
Maintain the internal & external condition and cleanliness of the vehicle.
Always maintain the security of the vehicle and its contents.
Help to always maintain good customer service.
Customer service skills.
Punctuality to ensure on time deliveries.
Respect traffice laws at all times.
Comfortable reading maps and the use of sat navs.
Ability to manage the process of loading & unloading of goods
Reliability, politeness and trustworthy.
Proffessional manner whilst delivering to customers.
Must be willing to work additional hours when required.
Must be able to work flexible hours
