As part of our ongoing growth, TECOSIM is looking to expand our dynamic Engineering Team in the United Kingdom. Our team is at the forefront of assisting numerous European and American automotive OEMs, as well as Tier 1 suppliers, on a variety of projects. Reporting to the Senior Engineer - Design, your primary responsibility will be checking component and assembly drawings before release.
Work with Engineering and Design teams to resolve discrepancies as required.
Record key checking metrics, e.g. drawing errors, originator and number of times drawing checked prior to sign-off using MS Excel.
Assist in the generation and implementation of Design Office procedures & guidelines.
A degree in mechanical, automotive, electrical, or aerospace engineering or the ability to show capability through proven experience.
Minimum 3 years experience in design in the specialist automotive or motorsport industry or be able to show that your experience is transferrable to an advanced engineering environment.
You will have a good understanding of engineering and be able to adapt to mechanical, composite and electrical systems as required.
Good working knowledge of proprietary PC software, e.g. Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Hybrid – 2 days on-site
Rolling 3-month contract
Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
