The role:

Managing a fleet of company vehicles.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:


  • Setting and managing financial budget for company cars and vans.
  • Contract/policy management and updating for the company fleet
  • Arranging the vehicles and supplying the correct vehicle to driver.
  • All day-to-day management including maintenance issues, collision repairs, administration.
  • Arranging driver training for all new drivers.
  • Responsibility for fleet administrator.
  • Managing all motor insurance claims.
  • Reporting into Regional Manager with fleet issues in their region.
  • Managing relationships with external suppliers.
  • Managing all responsibility for fuel purchasing
  • Working alongside stakeholders to deliver the business van strategy
  • Managing repairs, maintenance and damage costs within budget


Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience:


  • People/ team skills Management skills
  • Experience managing the fleet function in a business, including contracts and policy changes
  • Being self-sufficient Effective communicator - Able to work with all levels of the business
  • Prioritise high work load and working to deadlines
