Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that inspire a love for Design and Technology
Develop innovative teaching materials that cater to a diverse range of learners
Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum, ensuring all students reach their full potential
Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey
Collaborate with other departments to promote cross-curricular learning opportunities
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity and hands-on learningThe Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Have a proven track record of success in teaching DT at the secondary level
Possess strong subject knowledge in Design and Technology, including areas such as Resistant Materials, Graphics, and Product Design
Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills
