Are you an experienced Indirect Buyer looking for an exciting opportunity in the Aerospace industry? Our client, a leading organisation in the Aerospace sector, is seeking a talented and driven individual to join their team as an Indirect Buyer.
As an Indirect Buyer, you will play a crucial role in managing the P2P process and leading a team across multiple sites. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the procurement of fit for purpose materials and services at the most competitive cost. You will prioritise and process requisitions in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to relevant policies and procedure
Summary:
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months with potential to be extended or made permanent
Location: Wolverhampton - Hybrid once training is complete - 3 days required onsite
Pay Rate: £24.00 per hour
Hours: Mon - Thurs 8 - 16.45 Fri 8 -12Duties Include:
Providing support to internal customers to help them understand the ordering and approval process.
Supporting the business in resolving any escalated issues with suppliers.
Ensuring continuity of supply with defined quality standards.
Encouraging the use of preferred suppliers and identifying opportunities to channel spend towards them.
Ensuring compliance with procurement policy, processes, and spend rules.
Delivering value and procurement performance targets.Requirements:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong supplier relationship management skills.
Proficiency in SAP and SRM systems preferred.
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.Experience:
Degree or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
MCIPS certification (preferred but not essential).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar applications.
