Your new school A Primary School in Islington is currently seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 or 2 class teacher for their two-form entry school. The school has been awarded an ‘Outstanding’ rating by Ofsted, a testament to their commitment to excellence in education. Their vision extends beyond academic achievement, emphasising core values that shape the character of their students.
These values serve as a compass guiding young minds toward understanding, empathy, and acceptance. Community and compassion bind the school together, fostering a sense of belonging and shared purpose.
Your role as a KS1 or 2 Teacher Delivering a broad and balanced curriculum in line with school policyTeaching from planned objectives, which take account of differentiation to achieve progression in pupil’s learning, setting clear targets for pupils’ learning based on prior attainment.Set, mark, and monitor the pupils’ assigned work, including homework.Fulfill the school’s and national assessment, recording and reporting system as appropriate.Manage, with support, the work of Learning Support Assistants and other helpers in class to enhance children’s learning.Take part fully in primary school duties such as supervising playtimes, taking whole school assemblies and class assemblies.
What you will need to succeed in this KS1 or KS2 teacher role A successful candidate will:Must hold QTS status.Have recent experience of working in the education system.Have good interpersonal skills.Showing good standards of professionalism, being well-organised and capable of working to policy and procedure to agreed timescales.
