Job Overview
Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and versatile administrator to join their project team. The successful candidate will support the Stores Management Improvement Project at Connah’s Quay Power Station and collaborate with key stakeholders. Depending on workload, there may also be opportunities to assist with other operational excellence projects.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Administrator will manage and organize project documentation according to company policies and processes. The role requires flexibility in a busy and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Update Stores SAP, input stock counts, manage updates, descriptions, and run reports.
- Collaborate with the project team and onsite engineers to improve store processes, tag items, and update inventories.
- Assist the Project Manager in creating and updating documentation, including training manuals.
- Attend project meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and track action items.
- Manage the Project Action Tracker and ensure timely follow-up on actions.
- Oversee all project documentation on SharePoint, including planning, contract, governance documents, and meeting minutes.
- Provide accurate and timely updates on document flow and ensure project team members have up-to-date information.
- Maintain confidentiality of project documentation and communications.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence and professionalism.
- SAP experience, particularly in stores management, is preferred.
- High proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to build trust within the team and be a proactive team player.
- Ability to suggest efficiency improvements and effectively challenge when needed.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional organizational skills for managing and storing documents.
- Proactive and assertive in following up on documentation.
- Attention to detail in checking documents.
- A full UK driving license is essential.
