Job Description:

In the role of Engineering Lead, you will support Manufacturing engineering activities involved in Aero-engine parts production from the customer location (Derby UK). You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued. The role will also be that of an Onsite Coordinator who will have to manage the communications between the onsite and offshore teams, resolve input issues for the offshore team, and coordinate governance calls with the customer.


Your work will involve CAPP & TeamCentre tasks, Technical Authoring (stage models / Characteristics Matrix, etc.), ME concession management support, and a Defect journey. You will support the NPI / Digital team by creating standard methods in CAPP and stage models in NX, as well as modifying and improving standard technical instructions and associated documents across multiple engine projects. Assist with compiling First Article Inspection documentation to include ballooned drawings and FAI characteristic sheets.


Required

Experience in the Gas Turbine Domain – Preferably Aerospace.

Well-versed in AS9100 standards.

Well-versed in UG NX, TeamCentre, and MS Office.

General ME Skills on Build in Quality, PPAP, and FAIRs.

Inspection Planning.

Sound knowledge of GD&T.

Drawing Interpretation.

At least 8-10 years of aero engine work experience.
