Position: QA Engineer
Location : Fully REMOTE
We are teaming up with a Blockchain services company that requires the expertise of a QA Engineer. In this position, you will be tasked with executing comprehensive QA tests throughout each stage of product development to guarantee the delivery of high-quality releases. The perfect fit for this role will have a strong knowledge of cryptocurrency mechanics and blockchain technology, enabling them to proficiently test and validate our cutting-edge crypto offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and implement tests at all development stages to ensure top-notch releases.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand system requirements and integrate them into your testing strategies.
- Conduct manual and automated tests, analyze outcomes to identify and resolve bugs and discrepancies.
- Perform regression testing, performance testing, and other non-functional tests.
- Stay updated on new testing tools and strategies to enhance current practices.
- Deliver detailed QA reports and feedback during agile sprint reviews.
- Join a dynamic, distributed team and gain a deep understanding of software development lifecycle and Bitcoin-related software.
Requirements :
- Demonstrated experience as a QA engineer in software development or fintech environments.
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency, blockchain technologies, and digital payment systems.
- Proficient in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Ability to write clear, concise test plans and cases.
- Skilled in manual and automated testing tools.
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Experience with Git.
- Familiarity with command line tools.
- Knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript, Python, or Rust.
- Experience with Bitcoin or cryptocurrency.
