Gravitas Recruitment Group is excited to partner with one of London’s leading insurance syndicates in the recruitment of a Data Analyst . This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic Data Analytics function for a 12-14 month fixed-term contract , offering the flexibility of a hybrid working model based in the heart of London .
As part of this high-profile project, you will play an integral role in collaborating with underwriters and key commercial stakeholders to drive a pivotal data transformation initiative. This is a unique chance to make a tangible impact on the organization while working in a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, providing insightful analysis to inform business decisions.
- Use your SQL expertise to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from a variety of sources to deliver actionable insights.
- Work closely with underwriters , risk managers , and commercial stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful data solutions.
- Play a vital role in the data transformation project , contributing to the modernization of the business’s data processes and systems.
- Present findings in a clear and concise manner, ensuring data-driven insights support strategic decision-making.
About You:
We’re looking for a Data Analyst who has strong expertise in the following areas:
- Power BI : Experience in creating impactful dashboards and visualizations.
- SQL : Strong ability to query, manipulate, and analyse data from complex databases.
- Insurance experience : Ideally, you will have worked within the Lloyd’s insurance market or a similar environment, with a good understanding of the industry’s data needs and requirements.

- Location : City of London (50/50 Hybrid - Remote/Office-based)
- Salary : Up to £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
