The Recruitment Group are hiring for an Management Accountant to be based at our Head Office in Castle Donington. The Management Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our company, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of the company and supporting our continued growth.

The Role

Preparing monthly management accounts and other financial reports such as budgets etc.nPreparing and splitting department accounts into a full P&L to consolidation at group level. Including Journal / Accrual processes.nPresenting reports to senior management to aid with business decision making.nSupport Year end Accounts preparation, and audit.nSupport the Finance Director in project analysis.nDeveloping and overseeing financial systems and procedures. Identifying opportunities to improve these.nExposure to Utilities and be able to manage multiple sites Utility processes.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.nProfessional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.nProven experience as an Accountant or similar role.nStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.nAdvanced proficiency in Excel and financial software.
