Regulatory Affairs Specialist (Cosmetics)nLocation: London/Hybrid (Potential to be Remote)nContract Duration: 6-12 months

As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the cosmetic products comply with all relevant regulations and standards. You will be responsible for managing regulatory submissions, overseeing product safety evaluations, and maintaining compliance with global regulatory requirements. This position requires a detailed-oriented professional with a deep understanding of cosmetic regulations and formulation science.

Key Responsibilities:nDevelop and implement regulatory strategies for new and existing cosmetic products.nPrepare and submit regulatory documents, including dossiers, safety assessments, and technical files.nEnsure compliance with international regulations (e.g., FDA, EU, Health Canada, etc.).nReview and approve product formulations, labels, and marketing materials for regulatory compliance.nConduct ingredient safety assessments and risk evaluations.nMonitor changes in cosmetic regulations and assess their impact on company products.nLiaise with regulatory agencies and external partners as needed.nProvide regulatory guidance to cross-functional teams, including R&D, Marketing, and Quality Assurance.nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:nBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the cosmetics industry.nStrong knowledge of cosmetic regulations and standards.nExperience with formulation science and safety assessments.nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.nStrong written and verbal communication skills.nDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills.nAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
