Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer at the senior to principal level to contribute to their success in the operational engineering and asset management fields.

Role Overview:nThe ideal candidate will bring experience and expertise in the following areas, contributing to the performance design, specification, and management of electrical services installations across various projects, from high-end residential to commercial office fit-outs and plant/asset replacements.

Key Responsibilities:n• Design and Specification: Develop performance designs and specifications for electrical services installations, including high-end residential, office fit-outs, and plant/asset replacements.n• Surveying and Reporting: Conduct surveys of electrical services installations and compile comprehensive technical reports, including pre-acquisition, condition, lifecycle, licence to alter/dilapidations, capital expenditure, and plant/asset replacement assessments.n• Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a broad understanding and practical experience in electrical services and fire & security systems, including relevant British Standards. Address and resolve design, operational/maintenance, and statutory compliance issues.n• Client and Contractor Communication: Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and contractors, ensuring clear and professional exchanges.n• Report Writing: Produce high-quality written reports with attention to detail and clarity.n• Time Management: Manage your own diary, prioritise workload, and meet agreed delivery deadlines independently.n• Team Collaboration: Work comfortably both independently and within a small team, including managing external support consultants.n• Project Meetings: Represent the company and chair small-scale project and site meetings as needed.n• Maintenance Contracts: Engage with a portfolio of sites, overseeing various types of maintenance contracts (prior experience with maintenance contracts is not required).

Qualifications:n• Proven experience in the performance design and specification of electrical service installations.n• Strong experience in surveying electrical installations and compiling technical reports.n• Understanding of Electrical Services and Fire & Security Systems.n• Experienced in working on MEP projectsn• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.n• Strong time management and workload prioritisation abilities.n• Ability to work independently and within a team.n• Proficiency in Microsoft Office365.
