Job Title: QC analyst
Vacancy type: permanent
Area: Leeds
Salary: £24.5k - £25.5k
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using various analytical techniques including HPLC, UV and GC.
Conduct quality control tests to ensure product consistency and compliance with established standards and specifications.
Document and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to sample analysis or instrumentation.
Collaborate with other departments to investigate and resolve quality-related concerns.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as needed.
Ensures that lab cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
Adhere to all safety and quality regulations and protocols.
Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree with relevant experience
Preferably some experience in a quality control or analytical laboratory setting.
Experience of analytical techniques such as HPLC and GC
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
