Our client is on the lookout for a Head of In-Car Distribution to join their company. In this role you’ll be responsible for optimising the radio experience on connected and traditional in-car entertainment systems You’ll be collaborating closely with car manufacturers and in-house product development teams.
You will be leading a dynamic team, focussing on improving the radio experience for millions of drivers, changing the way people consume media on-the-go.
In the first year, you would have:
* Established strong relationships with key car manufacturers, leading to successful integration projects and pre-installs.
* Launched enhanced radio features on connected car dashboards that significantly improve user engagement and listening hours.
* Developed a comprehensive strategy for future enhancements and innovations in the connected car radio experience.
* Implemented robust performance metrics to monitor and optimise the radio experience across different car models and brands.
* Liaised with key manufacturers to ensure the user experience for DAB and FM is optimised with correct now playing data and station logos where available.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibility as a Head of In-Car Distribution will be to optimise the radio experienced for millions of car users by collaborating closely with car manufacturers.
* Leading the strategy and execution of integrating radio services into connected car dashboards.
* Driving continuous improvement in the user interface and functionality of in-car radio experiences.
* Collaborating with internal teams, such as Product, Marketing and Commercial and Technology, to deliver innovative promotion packages.
* Representing the company at industry events and forums.
* Managing vendor relationships and negotiating agreements, ensuring the best technological and commercial outcomes for the company.
* Liaising with car manufacturers, understanding their technology and requirements, aligning the companies’ offerings with their systems.
Your Background & Skill:
* Proven track record in the automotive or connected audio devices industry.
* Existing contacts within Automotive OEM’s or the ability to gain these quickly.
* Experience in product integration.
* Can demonstrate excellent relationship building skills.
* You will have strong project management abilities.
* Hold excellent communication skills and be a structured thinker.
* Able to show a strong record of execution, with the ability to manage and deliver projects whilst keeping everyone informed.
