Highways Development Control Team Lead

We are working with a local authority situated in Central England in their search for a Development Control (Highways Planning) who can oversee a team of Transport Planners commenting on an urban and rural mix of planning applications.
This role is responsible for providing managing and providing technical expertise for assessing Highway Implications for planning applications on behalf of the Local Authority.
This will include major and minor applications to respond to within the statutory response time.
* This role lands Inside IR35 contracted initially for 6-12 months with an outlook on extension.
* WFH hybridity is available, the suggestion is to go in 1-2 times per week.
