As we expand, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled Electrical Supervisor to join our dynamic team and grow with us over time.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee various electrical tasks in warehouse and commercial installation projects. This role involves significant travel and stayaways, ensuring our clients receive exceptional service regardless of location.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in commercial and warehouse environments.
* Oversee both 1st fix tasks (cabling, wiring, and infrastructure setup) and 2nd fix tasks (installing fixtures, fittings, and final connections).
* Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure projects are completed accurately and efficiently.
* Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and safety standards.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical issues quickly and effectively.
* Manage and mentor a team of electricians and apprentices, providing guidance and support.
* Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
* Travel to various job sites as required, including overnight stays.
Requirements:
* Qualified Electrician (City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent).
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
* Proven experience in commercial electrical work, particularly in warehouse settings.
* Previous supervisory experience in an electrical role.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring installations, and safety protocols.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid ECS or CSCS card.
* Full UK driving license.
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required.
Desirable:
* Experience with large-scale commercial installations.
* Additional certifications (e.g., IPAF, PASMA, PAT testing).
* Knowledge of smart building technologies and energy-efficient systems.
