Health and Safety Advisor - Leicester
Are you passionate about ensuring workplace safety and promoting a culture of well-being? We are currently seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Advisor to join our team in Leicester. As a Tier One Main Contractor specializing in logistics, warehouse, and distribution centre projects across the UK and Europe, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in line with company standards and industry regulations.
* Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols and best practices.
* Investigate incidents and accidents, and develop strategies for prevention.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety measures are implemented effectively on site.
* Monitor and evaluate health and safety performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements:
* NEBOSH qualification is essential.
* Previous experience in a health and safety role within the construction industry, preferably with a Tier One Main Contractor.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel to project sites across the UK and Europe.
