My client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyer to join their expanding business—a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate. They operate nationally and handle projects of varying scales, from small-scale renovations to large-scale commercial developments. They have teams that specialise in design, M&E, shell & core and fit out – supporting every aspect of the project.
Key responsibilities include:
* Handling project inquiries, ensuring thorough understanding of client needs.
* Generating detailed quotations for clients.
* Interpreting construction blueprints and specifications.
* Completing tender documentation.
* Conducting precise onsite measurements.
* Developing internal pricing structures.
* Monitoring and analyzing project expenses.
* Effectively communicating with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Undertaking nationwide site visits as necessary.
Essential qualifications and skills:
* Proficiency in procurement and negotiation with suppliers and subcontractors.
* Familiarity with Bluebeam for measurements is advantageous.
* Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
* Proficient in modern IT systems, with willingness to adapt to company procedures.
* Organized, responsible, and excellent communication skills.
* Possession of a valid UK driver's license.
This role is based in Mayfair central London
