Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Water Industry
A specialist tier-1 MEICA contractor delivering projects for Thames Water is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer or Principal Electrical Design Engineer to be based in Rickmansworth with hybrid working options available.

Duties for Senior Electrical Design Engineer
* Lead a team to develop innovative wastewater solutions.
* Ensure the creation of cost-effective designs that adhere to project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
* Provide strategic direction and daily technical input to support and collaborate with the engineering team.
* Systematically record, monitor, and control design changes to optimise cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
* Develop detailed and outline designs, along with specifications for electrical works.
* Conduct regular design review meetings to monitor progress and address challenges proactively.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues across various disciplines to meet project requirements and deliver value to clients.
Qualifications/Experience for Senior Electrical Design Engineer
* HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* Experience working within water or similar process-driven environment
* Contractual and commercial knowledge
* Eligible to work in the UK
