Job Role - Principal Safety Assessment Specialist
Location - Reading (3 days a week)
Contract Length - 18 months
Pay Rates - £98 hour
Key Criteria:
HAZARD Identification and use of formal techniques to develop hazard and fault schedules
Experience of undertaking nuclear hazard analysis (HAZAN)
A knowledge in design basis assessments
Unmitigated dose assessments to derive safety function classification
Ability to classify the required safety systems
An understanding of types of protection methods and the substantiation of those required
ALARP understanding
Key skills:
Degree level or sufficient background with experience to make it up
Active security clearances
A background in nuclear and defence
HAZARD Identification
Management of live safety cases
