Herbosch Kiere Marine Contractors is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer, with previous experience working within the Marine Construction industry.

In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead civil engineering projects from conception through execution, ensuring feasibility, efficient delivery, quality, on-time completion, and open communication.

Here’s what you’ll champion:nLead Civil Project Execution:

Oversee all project stages, from preliminary layouts to final engineering designs, ensuring the successful planning and design of civil engineering projects.nAssess Construction Feasibility:

Perform due diligence to evaluate the feasibility of various construction methods, selecting the most efficient and cost-effective approach.nManage Project Delivery:

Oversee all aspects of the project, including surveyors and subcontractors on-site, to ensure timely and successful completion.nDrive Project Efficiency:

Perform cost estimations, prepare project budgets, and allocate resources effectively to optimize project efficiency.nDeliver on Time and Budget:

Develop and maintain work schedules to ensure civil engineering projects are completed on time and within budget.nGuarantee Quality and Safety:

Conduct inspections of completed projects to verify compliance with industry codes, specifications, and safety standards.nMaintain Transparency : Document processes meticulously and present clear project progress updates to senior managers and clients, fostering transparency and collaboration.

Do you possess the following?

5 years’ experience of marine construction and/or engineeringnA degree in Civil EngineeringnA working knowledge of marine plant and lifting equipmentnSome knowledge of the offshore construction industrynA solid understanding of HSE standards, regulations, reporting procedures, risk assessment and method statement requirementsnFamiliarity with planning software and running the site cost forecastnThe ability to work proactively within the team in generating marketing leads and maintaining client relationships

Location and Travel

This role is predominantly based at our offices in Shoreham, with travel further afield as required. We offer flexible working patterns to suit the right applicant.
