Prospero Teaching is looking to place enthusiastic and capable Learning Mentors in a long-term/perm role at a School in North Dorset. No previous experience is necessary if youre the right fit for the role
The successful candidate will:

· have the ability to support, challenge and inspire our students, encouraging them to achieve the best they can through the promotion of outstanding teaching and learning
CONTRACT DETAILS
· Location - North Dorset
· Position - Learning Mentor
· Type of work - Long Term Supply / Poss Perm
· Contract or position start date - 02/09/2024
· Duration / Likely Duration - Academic Year / poss Perm
· Contract or position end date (if applicable) - July 2025
· Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temp to Perm
· Full time/part time - Full time
· Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate GBP84 per 6.5 hour worked day (GBP12.92 per hour)
· Hours - 8:20 am - 4pm (may vary)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· ECT or QTS teacher or equivalent
· Minimum 1 year experience of working with children or young people in the UK
· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
