In Child And Adolescent, Neurodevelopmental PsychiatryMentus Recruitment are thrilled to announce our partnership with a prestigious, private clinic located in the heart of London who are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to work in their highly specialised ADHD assessment and treatment service working with children and adolescents.

Our client is a leading provider of ADHD and mental health services, offering the highest quality of patient care while providing unwavering support to their families. They are deeply committed to the professional growth and development of their employees, fostering a safe and compassionate care culture.

The clinic is located in London and is a Consultant led service. The current consultants are experts in ADHD and have specialist experience in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD complimented by experience in areas such as CAMHS, Neurodevelopmental disorders, Learning Disabilities or Paediatrics.

The Role:

Consultant Psychiatrist or Consultant Paediatrician to complete ADHD assessments to CAMHS patients.Private patients referrals received through prosperous referral networkAll patients are deemed low risk and complete a robust triage screening.Utilising a multidisciplinary approach to offer the best treatment to patients.Completing initial assessments with follow up reviews and further medication assessments and reviews.Ability to build your own caseload of patients and increase working hours.1 on 1 support from the medical director to help with transition into private practice.Initial time commitment would be for 4-8 hours per week which can be increased over time.Dedicated administrator to assist with scheduling, paperwork, letters and reporting.

This service offers a very specialised service for low-risk ADHD (and some Autism) patients only. If patients present with comorbidity conditions, they are referred to a more suitable provider for their needs.

Current Team:Psychiatrist and Paediatrician Consultants form the doctor led service.Triage team that look after initial referralsPrescribing team that complete repeat prescriptions.Full MDT including Psychologists, OT's, SLT's.Dedicated Admin team to Support Consultants and complete administrative tasks.The ethos of the clinic is to work collaboratively with the MDT to ensure a full, all round approach in the delivery of assessments. Ongoing support with working in private practice is provided and opportunities for career and learning development are abundant.Essential Attributes:- Full registration with the GMC- Enthusiasm for participating in a multidisciplinary approach to assessment, formulation, and management plans- CCT in CAMHS Psychiatry, Paediatrics or Learning Disabilities Psychiatry. Specialist registration in General Adult Psychiatry is acceptable with proven CAMHS experience.
