Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs around the school to ensure the premises are in excellent condition.
Security: Oversee the security of the school, including opening and closing the premises, and ensuring all facilities are locked and secure at the end of each day.
Health & Safety: Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, identifying and addressing any potential hazards.
Cleaning & Upkeep: Supervise cleaning staff and manage the upkeep of the school grounds, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all.
Contractor Liaison: Oversee and coordinate with external contractors for larger maintenance projects, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a similar caretaking or maintenance role.
A strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks.
Basic DIY skills and the ability to carry out minor repairs.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
A commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.
