Main Purpose of Role:
Lead Project Management Commissions, ensuring end-to-end service delivery.
Act as the primary day-to-day client interface, ensuring client objectives are met and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Scope:
Manage projects of varying scale and value, typically up to £40m. Larger projects may be advisory in nature, such as urban regeneration funding.
Provide strategic advice at project conception, including different approaches to achieve client objectives.
Establish overall success criteria for projects, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
Plan and manage quality, safety, health, and environmental issues.
Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems.
Ensure the production of detailed project plans.
Advise on resource procurement.
Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams.
Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including KPIs.
Manage the change control process and project finances.
Ensure the flow of project information through regular meetings and communications.
Produce formal project progress and other reports.
Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages. Marketing and Business Development:
Develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
Identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities.
Collaborate with senior leadership to construct bids for new work.
Attend formal client pitches.
Maintain project case studies, photographs, and CV files.
Identify opportunities to improve project management products and services. Qualifications:
Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
