Our client, a Local Authority based in the West Midlands, is currently recruiting for a locum Commercial Property Lawyer on an initial 3-month contract.

The position is due to start immediately and the hourly rate is negotiable, subject to PQE.

The role can be conducted on a remote working basis, and previous Local Government experience will be essential for the role.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):nHandling a range of property law matters, including leases, licenses and sales and purchases of land, landlord and tenant matters, and disposals and acquisitionsnSupporting development projects including drafting and completing conditional agreements for leasenProvided detailed advice in all areas of freehold and leasehold property law and to carry out research when necessary

Experience required:nCommercial Property LawnRelevant Professional Qualification – Solicitor, Barrister, FCILEX

Working hours:n37 hours per weeknMonday – Friday
