Hours: 38 hours per week between the hours of 8am-6.00pm Monday to Friday (all-year round care)
Contract Type: 12-weeks, full-time (Temp to perm)
Salary: Ranging from £11.80 - £13.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Description:
Manaba is supporting the recruitment of two qualified Nursery Practitioners, minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare, to join a very reputable day nursery in Winchester, Hampshire that caters for a small number of children.
We have two opportunities; one as Room Leader and the other as Nursery Practitioner.
The roles are full-time, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am-6pm although for the right candidates they can also accommodate shorter 6-hour shifts. Applicants will hold at least a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare and ideally you will have experience of working within a baby room supporting children from birth. You must be a passionate Practitioner and a real team player.
Responsibilities:
* Understand and apply the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) within your work every day
* Inject your genuine passion into your practice when supporting the children in your key worker group, and across the entire setting
* Embrace flexibility and work confidently as part of a close team
* Communicate effectively, fostering a positive and respectful environment
Requirements:
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years and/or Childcare
* Practical knowledge of Child Protection Procedures
* Experience of contributing positively to a team within an Early Years setting
* Reliable and hard working
* Enhanced Level DBS
