Position Overview:

As a Funds Associate, you will play a key role in advising clients on a wide range of fund-related matters, including fund structuring, formation, and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Senior Partner, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work with top-tier clients and contribute to the firm's success in the finance sector.




Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice and support to clients on fund formation, structuring, and documentation.
  • Assist in the negotiation and drafting of fund agreements, offering memoranda, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on fund-related regulatory issues and developments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Participate in client meetings, offering strategic advice and guidance on fund-related matters.
  • Manage client relationships and provide high-quality service to meet their needs and objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to provide informed advice to clients.




Qualifications:

  • Qualified solicitor with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in funds law.
  • Strong academic background with a degree in Law or a related field.
  • Experience working in a reputable law firm or financial institution, with a focus on funds-related matters.
  • In-depth knowledge of fund structuring, formation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
