Job Overview

As our Audiovisual Technical Officer, you will play a key role in delivering seamless, high-quality productions that often span multiple countries and demand precise attention to cultural and linguistic details. Collaborating closely with our bilingual production team, you will oversee technical aspects across projects, including designing shooting plans, managing the operation of cameras, lighting, and sound equipment and developing solutions for clients to monitor shoots remotely. This role is ideal for a proactive technician who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about bridging cultures through exceptional audiovisual content.


Job Description

- Set up and operate audiovisual equipment such as microphones, speakers, mixers, projectors, screens, video cameras, and lighting systems.

- Identify and resolve technical issues related to audio, video, and lighting equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime during the project.

- Keep up-to-date with the latest audiovisual technologies, trends, and industry standards

- Collaborate with clients and our production team to understand their audiovisual requirements and provide technical support throughout the projects.

- Perform regular maintenance, inspection, and testing of audiovisual equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards.

- Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, repair logs, and event details to ensure proper equipment tracking and facilitate future project planning.


Essential Skills and Qualifications

- Proficiency in Camera, Lighting, and Sound Systems

- Familiarity with Innovative Equipment & Techniques

- More than 5 years of hands-on experience in film, TV, or commercial environments with a focus on social media or web-based content.

- Strong troubleshooting abilities and a solutions-oriented approach to dynamic production challenges.

- Ability to tailor technical approaches to various project types and production requirements.

- Ability to work effectively in multilingual or culturally diverse production environments.

- Proficient in English and Mandarin (Cantonese proficiency is a plus; additional language skills are also advantageous).

- Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in filmmaking, cinematography, or a related field.
