Primary: Numeracy and Literacy
Secondary: Maths, English and Science (You don’t necessarily have to teach all)
Being a Randstad Tutor offers you:

Key responsibilities:
* Creating lesson plans tailored to the student's learning style
* Assessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement and recording attainment levels using our internal reporting system
* Deliver engaging sessions to support a range of learning styles
* Work collaboratively with educational/care stakeholders ensuring student support.
* Working in accordance with the KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines.
Desired experience:
* Experienced in tutoring one to one or small groups of pupils who require additional educational or pastoral support
* Experience in taking supervision and correction constructively
* Experience working in inclusion units, special settings or alternative provisions
* Experience in working with students with SEN, children with undiagnosed SEN, disengaged young people or looked after children
Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate academic competence in the subject area(s) and build a curriculum, creating lesson plans individual to the student's learning style
* Assessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement and recording attainment levels using our internal reporting system
* Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research and other academic tasks
* Assisting students in understanding key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom
* Working in accordance with the KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines
Essential qualities:
* Inspirational, effective & flexible communications skills
* Competent IT skills, access to laptop/computer, audio and visual
* Stable broadband & internet connection
* Ability to develop meaningful relationships, encourage and motivate students.
