Main duties and responsibilities.
* Adhere and work towards the company's core values.

* Ensure the site is managed safely, and efficiently and is compliant with all legal requirements (Aligned to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Manage allocation of routes for employees & contractors
* Provide ‘hand over report’ to oncoming Shift Manager
* Manage and motivate the team to meet customer timescales and improved productivity
* Maintain quality standards
* Ensure team productivity targets are achieved
* Review team performance against agreed goals (KPIs) through regular 1:1’s, identifying training needs and required support
* Provide training to all staff and contractors to ensure they can undertake their duties effectively, efficiently and safely
* Ensure inductions are carried out for all new staff
* Ensure all staff have completed the necessary Health & Safety training
* Ensure the security of the vehicle and goods contained during transit
* Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy
Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a despatch, logistics, or supply chain role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
* Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
* Experience with food safety standards and regulations
Skills:
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
