The position is based in a lovely Primary setting in Southwark.
Responsibilities:
Supporting autistic pupils with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
Developing and implementing individualised support plans for pupils with autism.
Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure pupil's needs are met.
Providing training and guidance to staff on best practices for supporting pupils with autism.
Liaising with external agencies and professionals to ensure pupils receive appropriate support.Requirements:
Experience working with autistic pupils with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
Knowledge of autism and related conditions.
Understanding of strategies for managing challenging behaviour.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
