The Role:
As an SEN Computing/Creative Media Teacher, you will:
Innovative Teaching: Develop and deliver engaging lessons in computing and creative media that cater to the diverse learning needs of our post-16 students.
Student-Centered Approach: Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Individualized Learning: Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the individual needs and abilities of each student, ensuring every learner can succeed.
Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with other educators, support staff, and therapists to provide holistic education and support to students.
Progress Monitoring: Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Recognized teaching qualification.
SEN Experience: Experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly in a post-16 setting.
Subject Expertise: Strong knowledge of computing and creative media, with the ability to make these subjects accessible and exciting for SEN students.
Creativity and Innovation: Ability to design and implement creative and engaging lessons that inspire students.
